BHSc Biokinetics, BHSc (Hons) Biokinetics“The best exercise is to reach down and help others.” It is this passion, together with my love for sport and the health field that drove me to pursue Biokinetics. I thoroughly enjoy working with people and realizing that I can make a difference in their lives. While not at work, I also enjoy the fishing, golf and spending time with family. BA HMS, BSc (Hons) BiokineticsFrom a young age I have always enjoyed being active which is where my love for sport and physical activity began. I got introduced to biokinetics through sports injuries and that's where my love for exercise rehabilitation started. I have always been fascinated by the human body because of its complexities together with how unique each person is. I believe in working hard in helping others reach their goals while having fun doing so. I have a special interest in orthopaedic and neurological rehabilitation as well as general wellness. BSportSci, BSc (Hons) BiokineticsI am an avid health and wellness enthusiast who thoroughly enjoys working and interacting with people. Although exercise has always played a major role in my life, my interest in rehabilitation and my love for helping people is what made me interested in biokinetics. This career allows me to work in a field that combines all my passions into one. “You can go as far as your mind lets you. What you believe you can achieve." I feel that Mary Kay Ash perfectly describes what the field of Biokinetics is about. Our bodies are incredible vessels capable of doing incredible things as long as we put our minds to it. The power of the mind has always intrigued me which is why I am excited to learn more on the neurological side. I am grateful to complete my internship in 2023 with a great team at Adjustability. I look forward to expanding my knowledge and learning more about this career that I love.

BHSc Biokinetics, BHSc (Hons) BiokineticsIn being an active and adventurous individual, human movement has always played an important role in my life. This - coupled with my interest in biology and fascination with the dynamic nature of human health - led me to study biokinetics at the University of the Witwatersrand. After completing my Honours in Biokinetics, I completed my internship at Adjustability, where I had the opportunity to learn a lot and hone in my biokinetic skills. My active life has been centred around football, running, and anything outdoors. Although I no longer participate in them all, they all still hold a special place in my heart. I treat all facets of the Biokinetics scope; but have particular interests in Paediatric, Orthopaedic, Chronic and Sports injury rehabilitation and conditioning. A motto that I live by is: "You can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending" - C.S. Lewis
