What is Biokinetics?
Biokinetics is the Science of Movement and the application of exercise in the rehabilitation treatment of performance. Biokinetics’ primary function is to improve physical functioning and health care through exercise as a modality.
Biokinetics is the profession concerned with health promotion, the maintenance of physical abilities and final phase rehabilitation, by means of scientifically-based physical activity programme prescription.
Orthopaedic Conditions
Orthopedic Conditions: Individual exercise prescription for the rehabilitation of the back, neck, knee, shoulder, hip and ankle injuries and conditions. Treatment is offered from the time of injury up to and including full participation in sport or other physical activities of life.
General Health and Wellness
General Health and Wellness Assessment of health risk factors with the implementation of intervention strategies to support the individual towards total wellness and movement. Our services include evaluation and measurement of body posture and composition, blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol levels, muscle strength, endurance, power, flexibility and overall endurance. Specific program prescription for muscle strengthening, toning, sport specific training as well as weight loss and general fitness.

Strength and conditioning and Testing for Athletes. We offer Sport specific and physical fitness testing and training for athletes. We address all specific components to the athlete’s endurance, speed, flexibility, agility, power, strength and mobility.
Chronic conditions
Neurological And Chronic Disorders Individual and supervised exercise programmes for the prevention and management of chronic conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, lung disease, arthritis, osteoporosis and pregnancy (pre- and post-natal).
Neurological rehabilitation
This area is of specialised interest to Adjustability. From experience we have designed a specific program based on scientific literature, for people who have any condition affecting their neurological system. The main aim of the programme is to maximise neuromuscular activation, strength, cardiovascular fitness and functionality in patients. By participating in the programme, we aim to stimulate neuromuscular pathways as effectively as possible with our intensively focused exercise regime.
